The OzSiberians Forum is a PRIVATE Forum (access by membership only) dedicated to the pure bred Siberian Husky.
Access is by INVITATION ONLY.
New members need to be invited in by a member of this Forum and that member must be able to vouch for any newcomer.
GUESTS are unable to read the Forum, if you would like to see what goes on in this Forum, you will need to be invited in by an existing member and then sign up and register.
The only Access GUESTS have is to the terms and conditions of the site.
Please register using a PAID email account (ie. Optus, iPrimus, Testra, Bigpond etc). FREE email accounts (ie Live, Hotmail, Yahoo etc) get filtered out and the Moderator's may have to email you privately to verify your identity.
Lurkers are not welcome and membership is at the Moderator/s discretion.
Guests cannot enter the forum until they become a member of it. The only access Guests will have is to these terms and conditions. If you wish to view, read and participate in what goes on in this Forum, you need to register to join it and have an existing member invite and vouch for you.
Please note you MUST post once introducing yourself within 12 hours of registration, lurkers will be removed from the Forum.
When registering, you MUST register as YOURSELF, you can not assume a false/fake identity or State/Country. At the moderators discretion we can question and deny, or remove any suspect member.
There are some rules and regulations in regards to topics posted and acceptable behaviour, however, it is not as censored as other forums.
Although primarily an Australian Forum, we do welcome those from outside of the country to share with us their experiences and topics of discussion.
Rules and Regulations (can be altered at any point in time by the Moderator/Administrators):
There is a '3 strikes and your OUT system' in place.
If it is deemed by the moderator that you have overstepped anyone of the rules of the forum, you will recieve a warning.
THIS WILL BE A PUBLIC WARNING...it will be listed on the Forum.
Accumulate 3 warnings and your membership will be suspended for a period of a month in which time you have to improve your behaviour and be reinstated in the Forum to start a-fresh.
If you have accumulated 3 warnings within a period of a month, you will be suspended for 3 months, after which time you can apply to join the forum again.
Continuous bad behaviour will result in a permanent banning from the Forum.
If a post or behaviour by a member is deemed at the Moderators/Administrators discretion to be serious enough to warrant permanent banning, no warnings will be given and you will be banned from the Forum.
In most cases Permanent Banning will be passed by three Administrators, of which include the Moderator.
- If you believe a member has crossed the Forums Rules and Regulations line, please report them and the message to the moderator ASAP.
1. Discussion Topics
- This is a breed Forum for Siberian Huskies...please try as much as possible to stick to subjects involving the Siberian. If you own other breeds, we are happy to hear about those as well and welcome your entire 4 legged family, but please remember this is a Siberian Husky forum.
2. Personal Disputes
- Keep personal heated disputes between members off the forum. We respect banter between members, the freedom of speech and individual opinions but please refrain from personal attacks.
3. Racism, Threats, Bullying, Victimisation, Agressive, Profanity or Slanderous messages or Private Messages
- will NOT be tolerated
4. Politics
- We welcome the freedom of speech and individual opinions.
Part and parcel of the show world of which some of our members participate in, involve politics. It is the nature of the beast. HOWEVER, DO NOT name NAMES - whether that be Exhibitor/Owner/Dog-s/Kennel/Judges.
5. Personal Privacy
- Do not violate another persons privacy
6. Obscenities/Pornography
- Posts of the above nature will result in permanent removal.
7. Forwarding Posts/Messages
- It is against the Forum rules to forward or copy and paste any posts/messages from the Forum to anybody that isn't a member of it.
If we find anybody has forwarded or copy and pasted messages from the Forum, they will be removed from it immediately. If anybody is interested in what people have to say on this Forum - all they have to do is apply to join it themselves. Please note that the copy and paste, forward feature is recorded by your IP addresses.
